Sylvac Pottery, which is more accurately called SylvaC pottery, are well known for making pottery figurines and jugs. The company’s history can be traced to 1894 when William Copestake and William Shaw joined together to form a company called Shaw and Copestake, however the company did not last long in that form as William left the company. It continued to operate under under the name though, until the end of it’s existence.
SylvaC Pottery was most well known for their pottery animals figurines, most notably Dogs of various breeds and Rabbits. The company was well known for color glazed products, and most often seen in orange or green.
